About The Position

Responsible for executing fleet utilization strategy across terminals using data provided by the Fleet Analyst. This role involves managing fleet utilization, identifying and acting on underutilized equipment, executing equipment transfers and redeployments, coordinating asset placement with operations, monitoring utilization and revenue performance, and performing root-cause analysis on underperforming assets. The Fleet Assistant Manager will escalate long-term capital decisions to the Fleet Manager and holds terminals accountable for process compliance.

Requirements

5+ years fleet/transportation experience
Strong operational and decision-making skills
Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to company’s drug free workplace policies
Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
