Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, automotive, or custodial work preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Basic computer and technology skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with no substance-related incidents in the past 5 years; must be reasonably insurable.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including painting, drywall patching, fixture replacement, furniture assembly, and minor repairs.
  • Assist with remodeling, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
  • Support preventative maintenance efforts across Center facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, or security concerns.
  • Assist with groundskeeping, custodial duties, and facility upkeep as needed.
  • Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and materials between Center locations (Center vehicle provided).
  • Help with office relocations, workspace setups, and facility reconfigurations.
  • Support fleet operations through vehicle inspections, cleaning, transportation, maintenance scheduling, and recordkeeping.
  • Receive and organize deliveries and supplies.
  • Assist with event, meeting, and training room setup and teardown.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors, vendors, and Center staff to support daily operations.
