About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Diesel Technician for their fleet shops across the US. These shops maintain over 3,000 tractors and trailers for the company's private, company-owned fleet. The role offers extensive onboarding and continuous training, hourly rates for completed work, safety lifts, a clean parts room, and provision of heavier specialty tools. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to communicate in English – writing, speaking, and reading.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Diesel tractor trailer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain over 3,000 tractors and trailers (reefer units) for Gordon Food Service's private, company-owned fleet.
• Utilize safety lifts.
• Work within a clean and organized parts room.
• Bring basic tools; heavier specialty tools are provided.
