About The Position

The Fleet & Facilities Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating all facility maintenance, building operations, grounds management, and fleet readiness across company locations. In addition to facility oversight, this position oversees the company's redeployable vehicle fleet. The Fleet & Facilities Team Leader works closely with internal departments, vendors, contractors, and branch personnel to oversee maintenance activities, facility improvement projects, and fleet logistics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in facilities management, property management, fleet management, maintenance coordination, or a related field
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to company locations as required

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance, repair, and overall operation of all facilities
  • Develop, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance programs to ensure facilities remain in safe, reliable operating condition
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and facility improvement projects from planning through completion
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinate services including landscaping, janitorial, waste management, pest control, and building maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and completed projects
  • Serve as the primary contact for facility vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes to ensure quality cost-effective solutions
  • Schedule, coordinate, and monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company expectations
  • Review service contracts and recommend improvements or cost-saving opportunities
  • Support vendors on-site during maintenance, repair, and construction projects
  • Assist with developing and managing annual facility maintenance and capital budgets
  • Ensure company facilities comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA requirements and building codes
  • Coordinate required inspections, permits, and corrective actions
  • Manage facility lease documentation, renewals, and expiration schedules
  • Oversee and manage documented vehicle preparation processes, including transportation, inspections, maintenance, detailing, and final readiness
  • Maintain accurate fleet inventory records across all branch locations
  • Monitor vehicle availability and coordinate transfers between branches to meet operational needs
  • Order and maintain inventory of new hire tool kits, vehicle equipment, and related supplies for both new and redeployed fleet vehicles
  • Respond promptly to facility and fleet-related issues while maintaining minimal disruption to business operations
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or required
