About The Position

Thermo Fisher Scientific's FLDP Finance Intern program is a strategic pipeline for future leadership talent. Exceptional interns may be considered for the full-time Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) post-graduation. As a global company, applicants must be geographically flexible and mobile for both the internship and the FLDP. Placement depends on business needs. This is a 10-week position with projects of significant strategic or operating importance. Potential functional areas include Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Finance Data & Analytics, General Accounting, and Operations Finance. Onsite and in-office work is essential.

Requirements

• Undergraduate student completing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related area between December 2027 – June 2028.
• 0 years of work experience.
• Proven leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, Greek life, community service, volunteer organizations, campus programs, military service, or other leadership roles.
• Track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, driving results, and creating positive impact.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
• Evidence of grit, resilience, and perseverance.
• Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence.
• Geographic mobility and flexibility.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
• Not eligible for F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT Visas for the purpose of obtaining practical experience.
