About The Position

The Flatwork/DryFold position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of laundered textiles, primarily focusing on flatwork items such as sheets, tablecloths, and other large fabric pieces. The role involves operating specialized machinery to dry, fold, and prepare these items for distribution, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Operate flatwork dryers and folding machines to process laundered textiles efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect textiles for stains, tears, or other defects and remove or report items that do not meet quality standards.
• Sort and fold flatwork items according to size and type, ensuring neatness and consistency in presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment to comply with safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and address any operational issues promptly.
