About The Position

This position involves picking up dry linen and feeding items into various dry fold machines, adhering to standard operating procedures for each machine. The role requires inspecting each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear, and consistently meeting quality and production standards.

Requirements

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
• Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (on wheels)
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle linen efficiently
• Ability to work in high temperature environment
• Be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Be able to operate computer/printer
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, pulling, and reaching overhead

Responsibilities

• Picks up dry linen and feeds an item into various dry fold machines.
• Follows standard operating procedures for each machine.
• Inspects each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears.
• Must meet quality and production standards.
• Be on time
• Have excellent attendance
• Meet established production standards

• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor

• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
• Cross-train in other positions per production needs
