About The Position

24 Ford of Easton is seeking an experienced, motivated Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join its growing service team. The role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer and dealership specifications while delivering safe, accurate, and efficient work. The technician is expected to meet productivity and efficiency goals, maintain high workmanship and customer-satisfaction standards, document repairs thoroughly, and contribute to a clean, safe, professional service environment.

Requirements

2–5 years of automotive technician experience.
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
Willingness to complete pre-employment screening and a background check.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., frequently carry up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive physical movements.

Nice To Haves

Previous flat-rate experience at a franchised dealership.
Ford certifications.
Transmission rebuilding experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership specifications.
Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting established time standards.
Identify and communicate additional repairs or concerns to management.
Document diagnosis, cause, correction, and repairs on every repair order.
Use manufacturer procedures, troubleshooting guides, special tools, and equipment appropriately.
Road-test vehicles when required.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Meet or exceed individual productivity and efficiency goals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Report safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.
Work effectively as part of a professional service team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
