Fixed Route Driver
About The Position
MV Transportation is hiring Full Time Bus Drivers in Charles County, MD. Earn Up to $2,500 in Sign-On Bonuses! This position offers $26 per Hour, with up to $2,500 in Sign-On Bonuses. Full Benefits are provided, and training is paid. CDL Training is available if needed. Drivers will have two days off per week, and all Full-Time Drivers are guaranteed 40 hours per week. Successful candidates must meet all minimum requirements and be available to work Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday). Operating hours are from 4 AM and 11 PM with shift times ranging daily from 4 to 10 hours with a 40-hour guarantee per week for full-time drivers.
Requirements
- Be available to work full-time each week
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and DOT Physical
- Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record Required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must have a CDL (A, B, or C) with Passenger Endorsement or willing to obtain a CLP with Passenger Endorsement prior to the start of training.
- Must be available to work any shift between 4:00 AM and 11:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
- Possess excellent customer service, communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to safely operate a transit vehicle and provide dependable transportation service
