Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a Verifiable CDL (Commercial Driver’s License - Class B or Class A) with a Passenger Endorsement
3 years of required driving experience which must be verifiable through DMV
Must be able to pass a Federal background check which includes lifetime search and Fingerprint which will need to be verified by VA State Police
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision making skills
Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays
Punctuality
Be neatly groomed and uniformed

Nice To Haves

5 years of driving experience preferred
Customer Service Experience a plus
High degree of comfort working with people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection
Complete Pre-Trip Inspection Report and deposit copy
Report any corrections to Dispatch and or Maintenance Supervisor
Operate his/her vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times
Observe and obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws
Maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License
Report any changes in their driving record immediately upon change
Document all times, passenger counts, incidents, or any other information requested
Assist passengers with luggage, carriages and other bulky items to ensure safe transport
Assist with ADA passengers to ensure safe transport
Follow all safety requirements as instructed by safety manager
Other duties as required
