About The Position

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a Fixed Plant Millwright to join our expanding McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site, in Northern Saskatchewan. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation. Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. The Fixed Plant Millwright will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within our fixed plant operations. This includes crushers, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other stationary industrial machinery. As a key member of the maintenance crew, Millwright will ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime by applying preventive maintenance practices, diagnosing faults, and performing timely repairs. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Millwright Red Seal certification.
  • 3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and alignment procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair fixed plant mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and performance.
  • Install and align new machinery and mechanical components.
  • Collaborate with other trades (electricians, welders, etc.) to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety audits and meetings.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
