About The Position

Angela Krause Ford Lincoln is seeking an accomplished, results-driven Fixed Operations Director to lead and elevate a high-volume Service and Parts operation with significant growth potential. This is an opportunity for an experienced Fixed Operations Director who has successfully led large dealership operations, built high-performing teams, driven profitability, and developed a culture of accountability and excellence. We are not seeking a first-time Fixed Operations Director. We are looking for a proven leader with a demonstrated track record of producing exceptional results in a large, complex dealership environment. Our operation has the people, infrastructure, and market opportunity to become one of the premier Ford service organizations in the country. We need a strong leader who can capitalize on that potential and take the business to the next level. The Fixed Operations Director will have full responsibility for Service, Parts, Mobile Service, Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center and Fixed Operations profitability. This individual will work closely with dealership and corporate leadership to develop and execute strategies that improve operational performance, customer retention, employee development, and financial results. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who is comfortable holding teams accountable, coaching managers, implementing process improvements, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Previous Fixed Operations Director experience in a franchised automotive dealership environment
  • Proven success leading both Service and Parts operations
  • Experience managing large-volume dealership operations with significant revenue and employee responsibility
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and fixed operations statement analysis
  • Demonstrated history of improving profitability, productivity, customer retention, and operational performance
  • Proven ability to build strong management teams and develop future leaders
  • Deep understanding of dealership fixed operations processes, OEM compliance, warranty administration, and customer experience
  • Leads with accountability and high expectations
  • Understands how to develop people and build winning teams
  • Is comfortable making difficult decisions and driving change
  • Knows how to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and execute improvement plans
  • Has a history of delivering consistent financial and operational results
  • Wants the challenge of taking a strong operation and transforming it into an elite one

Nice To Haves

  • Ford dealership experience strongly preferred
  • CDK and Xtime experience recommended
  • Multi-store or large-scale fixed operations leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of technician recruiting, retention, and workforce development programs
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for all Service, Parts, Mobile Service and Commercial Service Center operations
  • Drive improvements in profitability, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Build and maintain a culture focused on accountability, execution, development, and continuous improvement
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing managers, advisors, technicians, and parts personnel
  • Improve key performance metrics including Effective Labor Rate (ELR), Hours Per Repair Order (HPRO), Technician Productivity, Efficiency, Customer Pay Sales, CSI, and Parts Performance
  • Lead monthly business reviews, financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
  • Ensure compliance with all OEM programs, warranty requirements, and operational standards
  • Develop and execute long-term growth strategies that increase department performance and dealership profitability
  • Partner with dealership and corporate leadership to achieve operational and financial objectives
