About The Position

As a Fixed Income Portfolio Compliance Associate, you will join a team that supports compliance monitoring for fixed income activities. In this role, you will help review orders, trade activity, and account positions to support portfolio compliance with internal and external guideline limits. You will learn how to research and escalate potential compliance issues while working with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Legal & Compliance, Investment Technology Group, and Investment Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Interest in financial services, compliance, fixed income, investment vehicles, markets, and the investment process.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • Open to learning related systems such as Aladdin, CRD, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Perform.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Comfortable partnering with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in team settings by asking thoughtful questions, exchanging ideas, and proactively sharing perspective.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to ask questions to help prioritize work effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to build critical thinking skills through collaboration and hands-on learning.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
