About The Position

Provides support to the accounting team by creating and processing invoices, recording transactions, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Accounts Payable Certified.
• Working knowledge of accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes general ledger balancing and financial statement preparation.
• Processes monthly accounting closing reports, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Records all contributions, distributions, and fund expenses through proper fund entity structures.
• Reconciles bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable regularly to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Analyzes recordings and identifies solutions to dividends.
• Monitors receivables and collaborates in the collection process for past-due accounts.
• Manages and resolves chargebacks and dividends efficiently.
• Maintains up-to-date vendor information in the accounting system.
