About The Position

OUTFRONT is a North American media company that connects brands and people through out-of-home assets, including billboards, transit and mobile displays. The Fixed Asset Accountant will support month-end close activities, analysis and account reconciliations related to fixed assets and intangible assets. The position works with the Accounting Team, Market leaders, Finance and Corporate groups and reports directly to the Fixed Asset Accounting Manager.

Requirements

• Four-year accounting degree.
• One to three years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills, including shortcut keys and pivot tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, internal auditors, Finance and market leadership.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as a team player and independently.
• Results- and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage various deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• CPA-track status.
• Fixed asset experience.
• Experience with Oracle and ERP systems.
• Excel experience with shortcut keys and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Process daily capital expenditure invoices and disposals, reviewing high-volume transaction-level detail.
• Prepare daily capital expenditure project reconciliations, including general ledger versus subledger analysis.
• Prepare monthly capital spend analysis comparing project spending with budgets.
• Assist with preparing and documenting selection support for internal and external auditors.
• Handle ad hoc fixed asset requests, including system improvements, reporting enhancements and special audits.
