About The Position
The Fitter is an individual selected to fabricate, fit, and assemble the structural components of various products.
Requirements
- High School diploma.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Communications skills in English/Spanish (if applicable).
- Experience in a variety of fitting procedures.
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use PPE.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Familiar with Global Vessel and Tank software programs.
Responsibilities
- Fit components according to drawings and job requirements.
- Use proper equipment to fuse components together.
- Analyze blueprints to ensure proper components are being used.
- Layout and fit equipment with all tolerances per drawing, QC, and calculations.
- Work with Production Manager and QC to ensure maximum efficiency.
