About The Position
Greenberry Industrial is looking for skilled Fitter-Welders to join our team in Jennings, Louisiana. If you’ve got hands-on experience in fabrication welding and a solid work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication welding (FCAW experience is a must)
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
- Positive attitude and solid communication skills
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Responsibilities
- Reading and working from blueprints and specs to lay out and assemble metal parts
- Performing FCAW welding (must be able to pass a weld test)
- Using various welding techniques: GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW, oxy-acetylene, and more
- Cutting and shaping metal with torches, brakes, shears, and bending machines
- Fixing worn-out parts by welding on new layers
- Showing up on time, ready to work safely and efficiently
- Following all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Tackling any additional tasks as needed
