About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to fit, weld, and assemble metal parts and components according to specifications and shop drawings. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, welding experience, and the ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role is located in Ooltewah, Tennessee, and follows a Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM first-shift schedule.

Requirements

• Welding experience with MIG, TIG, and/or ARC processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of metals and welding techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 100–125 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

• Welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fit, weld, and assemble metal parts, sub-assemblies, and finished components.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding specifications.
• Measure, cut, and position materials accurately.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Meet production deadlines while following safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
