About The Position

Fitness Trainer, Sports Core Work Mode: Onsite Location: Kohler, WI Casual position with scheduling available between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., including weekdays and weekends. Requirements

Minimum of a BS Degree in a related field and experience through an accredited internship program.
CPR certification required; first-aid certification preferred.
ACE, AFFA, ACSM or related national certifications required prior to starting the role
Candidate must possess a friendly demeanor and above average communication skills needed to interact effectively with members and the general public.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Training in aerobic instruction or recreation helpful.

Responsibilities

Promoting and performing lifestyle programs, assessments and personal training services according to Sports Core standards.
Performing fitness services with minimal direction. Includes body fat testing (calipers and Microfit), girth measurements, weight, cardiovascular step test, sit/reach flexibility testing and strength testing.
Promoting, designing and performing long-term personal training programs according to the needs and goals of healthy, average adults.
Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards.
Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures.
Assisting with set-up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment (weight benches, racks and equipment, Spinning bikes and any pool needs).
