About The Position

Miami Lakes Athletic Club is looking for a passionate, high-energy Fitness Instructor to lead our members through unforgettable classes and help them crush their fitness goals. If you light up a room, know how to motivate a crowd, and believe fitness should feel like a celebration — we want to meet you.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience teaching group fitness
• Current CPR/AED certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• A group fitness certification through AFAA, ACE, or another nationally recognized organization.
• Specialty certification(s) in the formats you'll teach
• Daytime availability
• The ability to think on your feet, juggle a fast-paced schedule, and start/end every class right on time.
• A friendly, professional presence that connects easily with members and teammates at every level.

Nice To Haves

• Zumba®, Spinning® (indoor cycling), or Pilates certifications
• A related B.S. (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Dance, or Physical Therapy)
• A 2-year degree in a related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, high-energy classes that leave members counting down to your next session.
• Tailor every class on the fly to meet participants at their own fitness level.
• Welcome new faces, walk them through the format, and make sure everyone feels confident from rep one.
• Keep a close eye on intensity and form, watching for signs of overexertion and keeping safety front and center.
• Inspire members to stay consistent and celebrate every milestone on their fitness journey.
