About The Position

The Fitness Attendant distributes keys and towels to members and guests, cleans locker room areas, stocks supplies according to center policies, and supervises children in the playroom in accordance with fitness center policies and procedures. The role provides exceptional customer service and helps maintain a healthy and safe environment. The Fitness Attendant acknowledges members while walking through the facility, builds professional relationships by providing proactive personal attention, stays knowledgeable about fitness center programs and services, and enforces facility rules and the code of conduct. The position is part time, with scheduled hours Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The listed pay range is $15.76–$22.11 per hour. Compensation within the range may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons with colleagues in similar roles.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Less than one year of previous job-related experience.
Complete CPR/First Aid training within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.
Personal trainer certification is a plus.
