About The Position

Help Create a Safe, Welcoming, and Energizing Experience. The Logan Health Medical Fitness Center is looking for a Fitness Assistant to help keep our facility safe, organized, and welcoming while supporting members on their wellness journeys. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic fitness environment. Requirements

  • Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Knowledgeable about fitness equipment and exercise environments
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-service focused
  • Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Able to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong communication skills
  • Criminal background check

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the fitness industry
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience promoting or overseeing safety in recreational, fitness, or community settings
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring fitness areas including the fitness floor, track, turf, studios, and gymnasium
  • Encouraging safe and appropriate use of fitness equipment
  • Assisting with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
  • Identifying and addressing safety concerns according to department protocols
  • Supporting members and guests with exceptional customer service
  • Assisting with waivers, documentation, and department paperwork
  • Helping create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where members feel supported and comfortable
