About The Position

As the Fit Model, you will be assisting the Product Teams in determining garment practicality, functionality, and consistency of overall fit. By supporting Patagonia to achieve fit consistency, you are improving the customer’s experience with Patagonia product, and reducing the environmental impact of our product creation process. Getting the customer the right fit directly impacts our mission to be in business to Save Our Home Planet by reducing shipping, materials, and number of products produced.

Requirements

Fit Models are expected to measure within tolerance of our Core Body Target measurements (measurements will be taken regularly to track how the child is growing and compares to our target.)
Parent or guardian must be present for all fittings.
Availability on Thursdays is required.
Must be 12 months old.

Responsibilities

Try on a variety of garments and provide detailed feedback when prompted.
May be asked for several different movements while fitting (i.e., sitting down, bending over, reaching overhead).
Comment on how the garment feels and how it functions (i.e., try on the hood, put your hands in your pockets, try the zippers/buttons, etc.).
Product partners may need to adjust or pin the garment on the child or can work with the parent to make necessary adjustments depending on comfort level.
