About The Position
Hermitage Processing Inc., a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., is seeking motivated individuals to join their processing team at their facility in Hermitage, Newfoundland. Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Use of hand tools, including knives and tongs, is required.
Responsibilities
- Cutting, cleaning, trimming, filleting, and scaling fish.
- Inspecting fish fillets to determine the optimal number and size of portions.
- Operating and maintaining machinery used to clean, cut, process, and package fresh fish products.
- Following all safety and quality operating procedures.
- Inspecting products and packaging to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
- Making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Ensuring all finished products meet established quality expectations.
- Packing and wrapping fish products for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
