Requirements

• 24 mos. exp. conducting fish management surveys, data collection, operating fish sampling equipment & implementing fish management strategies; valid driver's license.
• Completion of associate core program in fisheries science to include 1 course in chemistry; 6 mos. exp. conducting fish management surveys, data collection, operating fish sampling equipment & implementing fish management strategies; valid driver's license.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Propagate and care for warm-, cool-, and coldwater fish to stock in public waters.
• Perform facility and grounds maintenance.
• Monitor fish health and use chemicals for disease treatments.
• Assist with public outreach events and facility tours.
• Operate heavy machinery and vehicles.
