About The Position
Tropic Fish Company is seeking a Fish Cutter to join their team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is an opportunity to grow and gain experience in the seafood business at the best and largest seafood company in the state. The Fish Cutter will be responsible for cutting fish to meet all production needs, including breaking down whole tuna and other species into fillets and "poke" specifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Tuberculosis clearance.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Experience is a must.
Nice To Haves
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Seafood Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
- Fish Cutter: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Scales, heads, guts, and fillets fish for restaurants and supermarkets.
- Wraps and packages fish for delivery or storage to both local and non-local customers.
- Complies with the company's State and Federal guidelines and expectations regarding Food Safety, HACCP, and general Safety procedures.
- Assists in all of the fresh seafood monthly inventories.
