About The Position

Provide timely, accurate financial information to CAP funders and internal decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite products, Microsoft Teams experience.
  • Budgeting experience for business or nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and report generation.
  • Capable of accomplishing work under multiple deadlines while maintaining focus and accuracy.
  • Productive in independent work and a team environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively with coworkers, organizational leaders, and funding representatives.
  • Attentive to secure handling of sensitive information and data.
  • Commitment to detail, processes, and compliance.
  • Willingness to seek clarity and take ownership of tasks.
  • Satisfactory Child Abuse, FBI, and PA Criminal Background clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Utilization of accounting software to prepare timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reports to program leaders and funders.
  • Research and successful resolution of issues regarding budgeting, expenses, and revenues.
  • Accurate and consistent data entry in financial software systems to support reporting and invoicing.
  • Generation of budget-to-actual projections to guide program leaders in decision-making.
  • Support of annual internal budget process and development of specific grant budgets and applications.
  • Interpretation of financial details and data to guide recommendations to programs.
  • Generate backup documentation at the request of funders, program reviewers, and external auditors.
  • Understand, review, and communicate funding requirements to programs.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in financial regulations, grant guidance, and compliance.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.
