The Advocacy and Resource Center is seeking a dependable and organized Fiscal Intermediary Specialist to join our Self-Directed Services team. This position works closely with individuals and families to help manage Self-Directed Services budgets, maintain required documentation, and ensure services remain compliant and run smoothly.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Services, or a related field
- At least two years of human services and/or office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Clean and valid New York State driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the agency, individuals receiving services, and their families
- Manage assigned Self-Directed Services budgets appropriately
- Review paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain regular communication with individuals and families
- Attend Launch Meetings and other meetings as required
- Help ensure regulatory compliance and continuity of services
- Complete additional duties assigned by the FI Assistant Director or FI Program Director
