The Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) is seeking a Payroll Fiscal Analyst 4. In this role, you'll coordinate payroll activities, support payroll reviews and audits, ensure payroll expenditures are processed correctly, and prepare payroll reports for taxes, benefits, and management reporting. As back up to the Payroll Supervisor, this position prepares all required payroll reports for taxes and benefits and develops payroll management reports for effective accounting and management practices. This position is a project position with an expected end date of June 30th, 2028. Standard business hours for this position are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday in-office at our Central Office in Olympia. Occasional weekend work may be needed, and incumbents may be expected to adjust the work schedule to meet business needs of the agency. An alternative work schedule and hybrid telework may be authorized based on mission requirements.
