About The Position

Summit Air is seeking experienced Dash 8 First Officers to join their growing fleet across Canada. The role involves operating Dash 8 aircraft based out of one of their bases, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions. Summit Air, headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, has a legacy of excellence in northern and remote aviation and operates across Canada.

Requirements

• Current Canadian ATPL or written IATRA
• Minimum 1000 hours Total Time, 500 Multi Engine
• Ability to obtain Canadian Area Identity Card (RAIC)
• Strong Commitment to safety culture
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Current type rating on the Dash 8 preferred
• BC and Mountain experience is a great asset

Responsibilities

• Operate Dash 8 aircraft safely and efficiently and represent Summit Air professionally
• Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties
