About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our Electrical Systems Responsibility Center (ESRC) located in Everett, Washington on 2nd Shift. This role involves managing employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines, developing and executing business plans, policies, and procedures, and establishing organizational and technical strategies. The manager will acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, lead process improvements, and develop/maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. They will also provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, and manage, develop, and motivate employees.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
  • 1+ years of experience advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet organizational goals
  • Ability to optimize organizational structure and operating rhythm to meet strategic goals
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • A minimum of 1 leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross function project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

Nice To Haves
