About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a First-Line Government & Capital Property Manager (Level K) to join our team in Heath, OH. This role is vital in managing the company's assets, ensuring compliance with contract provisions, and enhancing property management processes. The position involves close collaboration with engineering and shop personnel to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with materials management and inventory in relation to Government and Capital Property
  • 3+ years of building stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Experience interfacing and dealing directly with government customers
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • A final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
  • 1+ years of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts
  • 1+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance
  • Experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal development
  • Professional certification issued by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
  • Experience with GOLD Property Management Systems or similar system

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees who develop, coordinate and implement property management and control activities.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
