Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience helpful

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and registering patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner.
  • Communicating with nursing staff and internal departments on patient needs and concerns.
  • Assisting with chart preparation for ASC patients.
  • Checking in on the status of patients in pre-op and post-op, and assisting patients into and out of the surgery center.
  • Ensuring the surgery waiting area is clean and visually appealing to patients, and that food items are fully stocked and available at all times.
  • Handling difficult or escalated patient concerns and providing positive solutions.
  • Exceeding our patients’ expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.
