About The Position
Espiritu Santo Catholic School, located in Safety Harbor, Florida is seeking experienced, qualified applicants for the position of 1st grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher is a qualified, professional educator who meets the requirements to teach in the Diocese of St. Petersburg and is a practicing Catholic. The ideal candidate complies with education policies and procedures of the diocese, the Florida Departement of Education, and the school. We will hire a professional educator who cooperates with colleagues and administration to provide an educational climate which supports the spiritual, academic and social development of each student.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Holder of Florida State Teacher Certification or meets qualifications to apply
- 3 or more years current teaching experience
- Knowledge of child development
- Ability to teach all core subjects
- Strong work ethic
- Dedicated professional
- Nurturing and supportive educator
- Practicing Catholic
- Meets the requirements to teach in the Diocese of St. Petersburg
- Complies with education policies and procedures of the diocese, the Florida Department of Education, and the school.
- Employment is contingent upon a Level II Background Screening and Safe Environment Training.
