Aspira Pacifica Retirement Living is seeking a Permanent Full-Time First Cook with 75 hours bi-weekly. The role involves preparing high-quality menu items using fresh ingredients, demonstrating scratch cooking skills, and ensuring food is served at appropriate temperatures with attractive presentation and balanced taste. The First Cook will also be responsible for food receiving, storage, and rotation, and may assume responsibility for departmental operations in the absence of the Executive Chef. This position provides direction to Second Cooks and Stewards, maintains a clean and sanitized work environment, and adheres to department policies for sanitation, safety, and quality assurance. Responsibilities also include assisting with cleaning duties, food inventory, and training kitchen team members.
