First Assistant Coach - Women's Softball
About The Position
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of 1st Coaching Assistant (12-month) with the appointment tentatively starting on August 3, 2026. Requirements
- Experience in working with students from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds.
- 3-5 years experience at the college (NCAA Division 1, 2, 3, or community college) level.
Nice To Haves
- An earned BA/BS degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university at time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated coaching and recruiting success, preferably at the collegiate level.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes through knowledge and understanding of NCAA regulations.
- Ability to act as a mentor.
- Sensitivity to equality and diversity issues.
