About The Position
Join Apple’s wireless silicon development team, which is responsible for wireless silicon development with an emphasis on energy-efficient design and technologies that transform product experiences. The team spans RF/analog, systems/PHY/MAC, VLSI/RTL, emulation, design verification, test and validation, and firmware/software engineering. In this role, you will work within a silicon design group and contribute to delivering functional wireless products. You will develop and execute firmware test cases for wireless application system-on-chip (SoC) products, working closely with the Software Engineering team to ensure firmware quality for manufacturability and an improved user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice To Haves
- High motivation and passion for software/firmware testing.
- Proficiency in Python and C.
- Knowledge of the hardware/firmware development life cycle.
- Experience with test bring-up on FPGA and SoC silicon hardware.
- Exposure to continuous integration processes and familiarity with automation test framework development and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or UWB and their integration issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
