We are seeking a Firewall Administrator to join our team supporting the DLA's Firewall Administration Support Services team. Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility
  • Active DoD approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or higher (ex. Security+)
  • Active Computing Environment certification (one of the following): CCSA, CCSE, CCSM
  • Active Category Two-Cloud certification (one of the following): AWS CSA Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate, AWS CS Specialty AWS Certified Security-Specialty, MC: Azure SEA Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate, MC: Azure SAE Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MC Azure Admin Associate Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, OCI Cloud Ops Pro 2024 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2024 Cloud Operations Professional, Check Point Certified Cloud Specialist (CCCS) cert
  • Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience to include the following:
  • Working knowledge of Firewalls.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software.
  • Working knowledge of Information Assurance Best Practices.
  • In depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations.
  • Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards.
  • Working knowledge of the installation, configuration, and day-to-day sustainment of network equipment, to include but not limited to firewalls and other network appliances.
  • US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge and accomplishment in monitoring and analyzing Firewall system logs.
  • Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion.
  • Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems.
  • Coordinates with the Vendor PM, TPOCs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.
  • Ability to formulate Security policy and manage Security configuration.
