About The Position
The City of Airway Heights Fire Department is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Firefighter. The Department serves a total population of approximately 12,100 year-round residents and operates from one station staffed by 4 career chief officers, 7 career firefighters, and 20 volunteers. The 2027 salary range for the Firefighter position is $7,057.42 - $8,426.92 monthly, plus an excellent benefits package.
Requirements
- IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter I certification
- current Washington State EMT-B or National Registry EMT-B
- Must possess or obtain a valid state driver’s license
Benefits
- The City pays up to $1,591.00 for employee and dependent medical coverage.
