About The Position
Serve as a vital first responder, protecting and caring for our community in emergency situations. As a firefighter/paramedic, you'll use your skills in responding to house and building fires, medical emergencies, and car accidents, making a direct and positive impact on people's lives. When not responding to emergencies, you'll hone your skills through drills and training, ensuring you're prepared for any situation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Current Firefighter I/II certifications
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Nice To Haves
- Advanced EMT (can be obtained within the first year of employment)
- Paramedic certification preferred
