Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • Must be IFSAC/Pro Board certified firefighter 2 or National Registry EMT Advanced/Paramedic certified.
  • CCP applicants must have previous CCP experience and be able to complete critical care competencies and training.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Capacity to perform under high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in using various software and tools related to emergency response.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in a diverse range of advanced performance-level technical duties essential for protecting life and property.
  • Encompass fire suppression and providing critical care emergency medical aid.
  • Handle hazardous materials and execute prevention duties.
  • Contribute to maintaining fire and medical equipment, as well as apparatus and facilities, ensuring they are always in optimal condition to effectively respond to emergencies.
