About The Position

ProgressiveHealth, LLC is seeking an energetic and results-driven PRN Paramedic to join their Emergency Response Team (ERT). This role involves providing onsite support at a local automotive manufacturer in Montgomery, AL. Requirements

  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift, walk for extended periods of time, and climb several flights of stairs
  • Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs at least 100 feet
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
  • Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol
  • Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients
  • Responding to all fires/fire alarms and taking appropriate actions
  • Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
  • Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use
  • Inspecting and completing audits on all equipment and systems
  • Assisting medical clinic staff with patient care as requested
