About The Position

We are seeking diligent and responsible Fire Watch Personnel to join our team. The primary role of this position is to ensure safety by actively monitoring for and responding to fire hazards in designated work areas. This position is critical during situations where normal fire prevention systems are out of service or in high-risk environments. YOU WILL NOT SERVE AS AN OFFICIAL FIREFIGHTER!

Requirements

• Minimum Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Physically able to stand and patrol for long periods if required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role or safety-related field is preferred but not required.
• Certification in Fire Watch or Firefighter I is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and systematic patrols to identify potential fire hazards.
• Monitor areas where fire systems are impaired, identifying any changes or concerns.
• Communicate effectively with management and local fire departments in case of an emergency.
• Maintain detailed logs of fire watch activities and incidents.
