About The Position
The Fire Watch Monitor is responsible for monitoring and logging the movement of tools and materials in and out of the FME Zone, and patrolling areas of work to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
- Complete Nuclear CBTs (Computer Based Training).
Responsibilities
- Patrol areas of work.
- Understand safety procedures and how to implement them.
- Contact and inform emergency personnel as soon as any issues arise.
- Report and map any signs of smoke or fire.
- Maintain the Fire Watch Logs.
- Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may cause or contribute to a fire.
