About The Position

We're looking for an Experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our growing Service Division. If you have experience inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems and enjoy working independently while providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of full-time fire sprinkler service experience.
  • Experience servicing steel pipe and CPVC fire sprinkler systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and system drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D is preferred.
  • Clean driving record is a plus.
  • OSHA 10, BlazeMaster, and CPR/First Aid certifications must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment if not already certified.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile devices is required.
  • Experience with Paycom, Outlook, and BuilderTrend is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems.
  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergency service calls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and system designs.
  • Perform 5-year internal valve and pipe obstruction investigations.
  • Exercise and test control valves, waterflow devices, supervisory devices, and related system components.
  • Isolate, drain, flush, and restore fire sprinkler systems.
  • Install, service, and replace sprinkler heads, valves, fittings, hydrants, and related equipment.
  • Work with both commercial steel pipe and residential CPVC fire sprinkler systems.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and jobsite personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, service, and repairs.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable NFPA standards.
