About The Position

Plans, develops, organizes, and supervises the design and construction efforts for a total project. This will involve coordinating all design efforts as well as overall management of field construction activities. Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Requirements

  • Five years’ experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management required; or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
  • Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • In conjunction with contractor, ensure all design activities are completed accurately and on time in accordance with master schedule.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards for project.
  • In conjunction with Project Manager and/or Superintendent monitor/control construction to ensure project is designed and built on schedule and within budget.
  • Function as the prime client contact coordinating the resolution of problems, reviewing progress, recommending alternatives, and advising on project objectives as dictated by corporate management.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
  • Review construction contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors and General contractor/owner to gather the required information to design the project’s sprinkler system.
  • Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoSprink program.
  • Maintain design historical records and historical records for all functions for future use.
  • Identify changes in projects that impact cost, schedule, or labor requirements.
  • Ensure work complies with codes and permits.
  • Perform Hydraulic calculations.
  • Ensure proper staffing is in place on each project.
  • Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 certification.
  • Forecast future manpower requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
