About The Position
Assist with installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and residential buildings and industrial applications, in compliance with current codes. The position is with Century Fire Protection in Sanford, Florida, and is full-time. Pre-employment drug screening is required, and overtime may be required. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, or 0–6 months of related experience or training.
Requirements

- Complete pre-employment drug screening.
- Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems according to specifications.
- Lay out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in the field.
- Connect pipe using a snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamps.
- Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along the pipeline.
- Communicate safety hazards and job-site discrepancies to the foreman and/or superintendent.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow company safe-working policies and procedures at all times.
