About The Position

The Fire Sprinkler Install Helper assists with installing fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. This entry-level role supports foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning fire sprinkler installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Basic computer skills, including email.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Construction or mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prepare pipe under supervision.
• Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
• Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
