About The Position

Impact Fire is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their growing team in San Antonio. Impact Fire Services was established in 2009 by experienced industry professionals aiming to build a best-in-class fire protection and life safety company. They offer installation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, and retrofit of fire safety systems. Requirements

  • Competent working knowledge of NFPA 13
  • 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
  • Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
  • Experience with Fire Pump design
  • Experience with Standpipes
  • Experience with Storage design
  • NICET Level 2 in Water-Based Systems Layout
  • RME-G preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy
  • Ability to draw ground up new fire sprinkler systems
  • Ability to run hydraulic calculations
  • Ability to run and check stocklists
