About The Position
Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join their growing team in Austin. Requirements
- Competent working knowledge of NFPA 13
- 2 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
- Experience with general submittal procedures to AHJ
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of fire sprinkler design experience with HydraCAD
- Experience with Fire Pump design
- Experience with Standpipes
- Experience with Storage design
- NICET Level 2 in Water-Based Systems Layout
- RME-G preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems with accuracy
- Draw ground up new fire sprinkler systems
- Run hydraulic calculations
- Run and check stocklists
